After having dabbled in poetry, Annapurna Sharma experiments with the writing of short stories in her 2022 collection of nine stories. Recipient of the Distinguished Writer Award by Xpress Publications in 2018, Sharma is well-recognized for winning and being nominated for awards in several story writing and poetry competitions. She is also on the board of editors for Muse India, a literary e-journal.
