It is one of life’s ironies that those who live their lives intensely, full of zest, and with a keen interest in all that surrounds them usually have short lives. Gouramma, who lived just 28 years (1912-1939), was one such bubbling young woman with multifarious pursuits like a passion for gardening, writing, cooking, travelling and politics.
