Of being surrounded by strangers. People offered water, but she neither ate nor drank anything. After a while her mooing slowed down. Some people went off to look for the mother cow. Other people came. The calf was visibly agitated. Everyone tried pat her to calmness. People kept advising and consulting each other. Standing there with fear and concern, everyone was perhaps wishing the same thing.
