Mera koi hai nahin

Ghar mujhe chaahiye:

Ghar ke bheetar prakash ho

Is ki mujhe chintaa nahin hai;

Prakash ke Ghere ke bheetar mera

ghar ho —

Isi ki mujhe talaash hai.

says this apostle of a very eloquent silence, the same one who had given us ‘I weave the threads of silence’ {Main Sannatta Bunta Hoon) in poetry and the delightful essay ‘Chup ki Dahaar’ (The Roar Of Silence) in prose. The poet has often made it clear that words have never sufficed to contain him.
