In the age of digital photography where more and more images are being taken to be stored in the hard drives of com¬puters a certain fascination with photogra¬phy of the distant past has resurfaced. Film era images, for example, are enjoying an Internet afterlife as they get scanned and cir¬culated to a larger audience beyond the im¬mediate owner of the photo album. It is the older pictures, in sepia tone pointing to an era long gone that arouse the most interest and curiosity.
