Chatur Chanakya vs the World Wide Web is the sequel to Radhakrishnan Pillai’s first delightful book, Chatur Chanakya and the Himalayan Problem, which introduced readers to the Super Six gang of Ganesh colony including Chanakya, the pale, slender and rather unlikely hero. As the stories unfold, however, we gradually realize that this modern Chanakya is aptly named after the shrewd mentor and advisor of the Mauryan emperor Chandragupta who also authored the classic political treatise, the Arthashastra. The modern day Chanakya’s wit and smartness belie his rather unprepossessing outward appearance with a lanky physique and a thin choti sprouting from his head and before we know it, we are caught up in the adventures of Arjun, Lakshmi, Chanakya and their other friends.
