Life is akin to an amusement park and birth itself is an entry ticket. Exposure to as many experiences as possible is normal to a person fascinated by life.’ The author lived by his words and the book is a testimonial to it. The book presents snippets from his boyhood to adult life and in no particular order. It gives us an essence and a glimpse of what life meant to him. He was fascinated by everything and has put his soul on paper. It is a journal of sorts by a naturalist, a birder, an animal whisperer, a rock collector. His experiences are not mere descriptions, although being a novice birder and rock collector, I did learn a thing or two, but focus on how they made him feel. This is possible because he allows himself to be touched by everything.
