They have failed, fallen and risen, ultimately to attain their full potential.
Kiran Manral was a journalist and an entrepreneur before she became a novelist, columnist, writer of non-fiction and a TEDx speaker. At the simplest level she hopes that Rising 2.0 will convey to her reader ‘the sense of awe and wonder’ that she herself experienced while researching and writing about the 20 women in this book. Political activism, politics, scientific enquiry and research, environment, ecology, community action, literature, law, craft, education, social work, literacy for the unlettered, sports, space, art, music and more between them, the 20 women have it all covered.
